Binance DEX will close access to residents of Belarus, Crimea and a number of other jurisdictions
Binance DEX has updated the rules for using its service with a list of jurisdictions whose residents are prohibited from "making deposits, withdrawing funds and trading using the site".The list of 28 "prohibited jurisdictions" includes, in particular, the United States, the Republic of Belarus and Crimea.
According to Twitter user Trade Crypto Live, when trying to access the Binance DEX website, as the owner of the IP address of one of the "prohibited jurisdictions", he received a message that from July 1, residents of the regions from the above list will not be able to access the wallet interface on binance.org and execute transactions on the platform.
He also drew attention to the fact that residents of these jurisdictions who use Ledger wallets to store BNB, having no other way to work with assets except through Binance DEX, should take care of their fate in advance..
There have been no similar changes in the rules for using the main service binance.com..
Previously, Binance DEX was criticized by community members because of the possibility of blocking user assets specified in its rules at the sole discretion of the company..
